CharlotteChurch.net:
the Year in Review
This year has been a year
of many changes. We decided it was time to move the site to a dedicated
server. This has given us full control of the server, so we can install
the software we want. Furthermore, it has has solved our bandwidth
(download) limitation and it has been proven to be more reliable. We want
to thank Dave and DutchMark for the smooth transition to the new server.
At the end of the year the
forums were upgraded and moved to the new server. Unfortunately we were
unable to keep the old posts, but this did not stop the fans from posting.
With more than 5000 posts per month, we are still the most active
community of fans. We want to thank everyone for sticking with us during
the transition!
Recently we have added an
integrated chat room to the forums. This enables our members to enjoy each
other's company in real time. We are happy to see it is being used quite
intensively; you will be able to talk to a fellow fan most any time of the
day.
Today CharlotteChurch.net and it's affiliates
continue to be the the most visited Charlotte destinations on the web and remain the only sites dedicated to
the non commercialisation and free content for all.
Looking Ahead
It's always risky to predict the future so we won't but one thing is for
certain....as long as there are Charlotte Fans there will be a
CharlotteChurch.net of some sort, you can count on that. We're looking forward
to guiding you every step of the way this year and most importantly we wish
Charlotte good luck and best wishes towards whatever she should partake upon.
