ITV This Morning - Performance  By Simon, CharlotteChurch.F9.co.UK

Title: ITV This Morning
Date of transmission: Wednesday 6 December 2000
Channel: ITV
Charlotte's role in programme: Featured Guest/Performer

I can't think of a prettier picture than a snow-white Christmas scene with an angel as the centerpiece!

This was the setting for Wednesday's live solo performance of "Elysium" and I declare this little poppet seems to grow more beautiful every time I set eyes on her.
A fact that did not escape
Richard and Judy's attention in their earlier interview with Charlotte. Click the link to read it when you've finished here!

When the night is still, and the sea is calm, lonely shadow, you shall call, upon me.

Lay by my side, fear not tonight, lonely shadow, you'll find a new light.

Dream a dream and see through angel's eyes, a place where we can fly away.

Ride with me upon a shining star, above the moonlit sky we will find * elysium.

Hear the nightingale sing a lullaby. Lonely shadow, rise from the darkness. Dream a dream and see through Angel's eyes a place where we can fly.

Charlotte Church ... A Dream of a Dream ... Elysium indeed

* Elysium - The Romans believed this to be the final resting place of the dead.
What had happened to them in this world was supposed to reverberate throughout eternity.
Once in elysium, it was believed that a person's memories would repeat for ever - unchanged and unchanging.

Personally, I prefer to believe in the Heaven portrayed by the Holy Bible - Life everlasting - through justification by faith in the One who was born to save the world...
Once there - we shall meet with angels - and hopefully - everyone will sing like Charlotte!
